For entertainment, we tried to contact some local bands.
Some charge extremely high and some are okay. So here are the rate they will charge us:

Anticipation and Excitement of Prom Night

Prom Night is the last night you get to spend together with your friends. Its about spending the last cherished moments with them as after this we are all going our seperate ways. It's the last memory you have with ALL the students you have spent soo many years with. The last memory before moving on with your lives and saying bye bye to high school. Prom Night will truly be one of the best night of your live and a really memorable one. Prom Night has been a tradition for many schools for a lot of years. Now let's bring this tradition to smk Bukit Jambul.

Its a night of glitz and glamour. Its the time to put away the boring school uniforms and be yourself. Prom Night 2009 has a very glamorous theme : Red Carpet Affair. And yes we will have the red carpet (maybe even some paparazzi). So guys, be prepared to walk down the red carpet just like all the hollywood celebrities.

There are also awards to be won !! Just like our hollywood theme : Red Carpet Affair,we are going to give awards for various catagories. There will be nominations and the Form 5 class of 2009 will vote and decide the winners for all the awards. So stand out ! Be who you are ! and get yourself an award !!

While enjoying your yummy dinner, you will entertained by a variety of performances. You will get a chance to watch your friends perform. There will be singing performances and dance acts. The prom committee is trying to get a local band to come and perform for our prom. Updates will be posted once confirmed. But just to get you excited we are thinking of bands like :

The band that will be performing is not decided yet and the prom committee will keep you updated and also get your feedbacks. To add to the excitement, there is going to be a open floor. So start practising your crazy dance moves so you can show your skills on the floor !! =)

And of course there is the most awaited part of the night. Prom King and Prom Queen !! The nominations and voting will be decided by the Form 5 Class of 2009. It might even be YOU !!
